Good plugin, support was helpful

I purchased the ShopEngine Pro plugin for a client project. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. It was delivered instantly, as expected for a digital product. I ran into a small issue integrating it with a specific theme, but their support team responded within a few hours and provided clear instructions to resolve it. The plugin itself is quite robust, offering a lot of customization options for WooCommerce. Overall, a solid product and good customer service.

Eventin Pro purchase experience

I bought Eventin Pro for my community site. The plugin itself is powerful for managing events, and I liked the features for ticketing. The purchase process was smooth enough, and the download was immediate. However, I found the documentation a bit overwhelming initially; it took some digging to find what I needed to set up recurring events properly. Also, while the plugin does a lot, I wish the front-end design templates were a bit more modern right out of the box, requiring less tweaking with custom CSS. Good value for money, but expect a learning curve.

WPCafe Pro is awesome

I got the WPCafe Pro plugin last week and it's been super easy to use. My website looks so much better now. Setting up the menu was a breeze. Definitely recommend it if you have a restaurant site. Took maybe an hour to get everything how I wanted.

hey, was looking at Eventin Pro. how many sites can I actually use it on with one license? i run a few client sites.

N Neil 1 month ago
I think it depends on the license tier you get. The basic one is usually one site, but they have multi-site options. Check their pricing page, it'll show the breakdown.

Yeah, I got the developer license for WPCafe and that covers like 100 sites. If you're doing client work, definitely look at the higher tiers or the agency bundle, it's way more cost-effective.

are their plugins compatible with the latest WordPress and WooCommerce versions? Don't want to buy something that breaks my site.

N Neil 1 month ago
They're usually pretty good about keeping things updated. Haven't had any issues with their plugins breaking my sites on new WP versions.

I run WPCafe and Eventin on a bunch of sites and haven't had conflicts with the latest WP/Woo. They seem to update regularly.

Is Eventin better than The Events Calendar? I'm trying to pick one for my community site and can't decide.

A Amber 1 month ago
I used The Events Calendar before switching to Eventin. Honestly, Eventin felt more intuitive for building multi-vendor events, and the support was quicker for me. TEC is good too but felt a bit clunkier.

Depends on your needs. For simple events, they're both fine. If you need more advanced stuff like multi-vendor or QR code attendance, Eventin has some nice features out of the box.

anyone know if their Black Friday sales are usually any good? trying to decide if I should wait for a deal on the Eventin bundle.

T Troy N. 1 month ago
Oh yeah, their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are typically pretty solid. I grabbed MetForm Pro for like 40% off last year. If you can wait, it's probably worth it for a bundle.

They usually do big discounts for major holidays. New Year's too. You'll probably see something good for the Eventin bundle then.

what's their refund policy like? just in case a plugin doesn't quite fit what i need.

J June Doyle 4 weeks ago
They have a refund policy, yeah. I think it's 14 or 30 days. Pretty standard stuff. Just make sure to read the terms on their site.

Yeah, I returned a plugin from them once, no hassle. As long as you're within the refund window, it should be fine. It wasn't instant, but they processed it.

does anyone know if I can use a coupon for renewing my WPCafe annual subscription? Or is it just for new purchases?

T Todd Lindqvist 1 month ago
Most coupons are for the first year of annual subscriptions, I think. For renewals, sometimes they have a specific renewal discount, but not always a general coupon.

P Priya 1 month ago
I asked support about this once for Eventin. They said coupons typically apply to new annual plans or lifetime purchases, but they might offer renewal discounts separately sometimes. Worth checking their site around renewal time.

planning to get WPCafe for a new restaurant site. is it pretty easy to set up with Elementor? i'm not a super techy person.

N Neil 1 month ago
Yep, WPCafe is built to work well with Elementor. Most of their stuff is. You just drag and drop the widgets.

P Phil W. 1 month ago
Super easy. I used CoDesigner with Elementor and it was seamless. WPCafe should be the same, they're all made to integrate with it.

I'm thinking about getting a lifetime license for ShopEngine. Do they actually give you lifetime updates with those?

B Ben A. 1 month ago
AFAIK, yes, lifetime means lifetime updates. That's usually the whole point of an LTD.
5
P Phil Walsh 1 month ago
Yeah, I got an LTD for MetForm a while back and it's still getting updates. That's standard for their lifetime deals.
